EXCITEMENT filled the penthouse of Wisma Mah Sing when Star Media Group Berhad made a visit to Mah Sing Group to usher in the Year of the Fire Rooster.
The atmosphere was festive as lion dancers performed and blessed the office to mark the start of the auspicious celebration for a prosperous year ahead.
It was also a sea of red as staff donned outfits of that colour, further welcoming ong (prosperity) into the office.
The Chinese New Year corporate visit by Star Media Group was also attended by 988 Chinese language radio station deejays Cynthia Tan and Jason Poon.
Aside from bringing the festive cheer, they also took selfies with their fans who were thrilled and delighted to meet them.
The celebration was followed by the tossing of yee sang, first by the senior management teams, and then the staff.
Star Media Group’s chief executive officer and managing director Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai presented a pot of money plant as a gesture of appreciation to Mah Sing Group’s managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum. The money plant is said to bring in wealth, health, prosperity and happiness.
Top management from Star Media Group and Mah Sing Group tossing yee sang for a prosperous and happy new year.
It was also a token of appreciation for the property developer’s never-ending support towards the group.
